This policy explains how ZIPIT LOGISTICS LLP (“ZIPIT”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data of shoppers, merchants, visitors and users of our website, applications and related services. It covers shipment booking, tracking, cash-on-delivery handling and related services. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules.

ZIPIT acts as the data fiduciary and users act as data principals where those terms apply. Our processors may include delivery partners, payment services, messaging providers, analytics providers and cloud services.

Why we process data
We process data to fulfil delivery contracts, complete shipments and payments, comply with legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, improve our services and send communications for which consent is required. You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected and for legal, tax, settlement and service obligations. We use reasonable safeguards including encryption, access controls, monitoring, backups and contractual protections with processors. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Sharing
We share only the data needed with delivery partners, payment processors, banks, insurers, government authorities where legally required, and service providers supporting the platform. We require processors to protect confidentiality and security. Data is currently intended to be processed in India; any international transfer will follow applicable legal conditions.
NDR and RTO
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to address issues, refusal, or another delivery exception, it may be returned to the Merchant. No RTO charge applies when the shipment is returned to the original pickup address. If a different return address is specified, a 50% RTO charge may apply. COD that was not successfully collected is not due for remittance to the merchant.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or erasure, withdraw consent, restrict optional processing and raise a grievance. Contact info@zipit.co.in or support@zipit.co.in. Grievance officer details will be added when appointed; privacy requests will be addressed within applicable timelines.
