Last updated: 28 September 2026
Scope and parties
These terms govern use of the ZIPIT platform by customers and merchants. They form an agreement with ZIPIT LOGISTICS LLP, registered at 176, NR City Post Office, Itwari, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440002, GSTIN 27AAZFD2612C1ZI.
Services
ZIPIT provides shipment booking, pickup or drop-off scheduling, tracking, COD collection and optional insurance through postal and courier networks. Applicable delivery-partner conditions also apply to each shipment.
Shipment preparation and delivery
Merchants must provide accurate details and prepare, pack and label parcels properly. Delivery attempts and return handling follow the selected carrier’s rules. ZIPIT is not responsible for delivery failure caused by incomplete addresses or an unavailable recipient.
Prohibited goods
Shipments must not contain currency, flammable or explosive materials, narcotics, unpermitted perishables, uninsured valuable jewellery, live animals, obscene material, protected-species products or any item prohibited by Indian law or carrier rules.
Pricing and payment
Shipping charges are based on actual or volumetric weight, distance, selected service and applicable taxes. Undercharges found after reweighing remain payable; verified overcharges are refunded or credited. Applicable statutory taxes and collections may apply.
COD handling
ZIPIT collects COD after successful delivery and remits the full collected COD amount to the merchant according to the displayed settlement cycle. Shipping charges are paid separately from the shipping wallet and are not deducted again from COD remittance. If COD is not collected, no remittance is due.
Insurance and claims
Optional shipment insurance is subject to declared value and carrier terms. Claims should be raised within seven days of delivery or return with proof of value and supporting evidence.
User obligations
Merchants must provide accurate product, value, sender and recipient details; comply with law; pay applicable charges; and protect ZIPIT from claims caused by prohibited goods or inaccurate information. Customers must provide accurate details, receive shipments promptly and pay COD where applicable.
NDR and RTO
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to address issues, refusal, or another delivery exception, it may be returned to the Merchant. No RTO charge applies when the shipment is returned to the original pickup address. If a different return address is specified, a 50% RTO charge may apply. COD that was not successfully collected is not due for remittance to the merchant.
Liability
Carrier rules, declared value and applicable law govern compensation for loss or damage. ZIPIT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Any shipment-specific liability cap will be communicated in the applicable service or commercial terms before it is relied upon.
Disputes, suspension and force majeure
Indian law governs these terms. Disputes are subject to arbitration in Nagpur under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and courts in Nagpur have exclusive jurisdiction. ZIPIT may suspend service for fraud, prohibited shipments, non-payment or safety concerns. ZIPIT and its delivery partners are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
Changes
We may update these terms for service or regulatory changes. Material updates will be posted on the website or communicated to registered users.
